III. Troubleshooting & Common Questions
Q1: Why is the phone asking for a PIN/Password?

A: If your device has a screen lock, Android requires your PIN or Pattern to authorize enabling Developer Mode for security reasons.
Q2: How do I enable USB Debugging?
-
A: Once Developer Mode is on: Go to Developer Options > Scroll to Debugging > Toggle USB Debugging to ON.
Q3: I cannot find "Build Number". What should I do?
-
A: Use the Search bar at the top of the Settings menu and type "Build number". It will take you directly to the toggle.
Q4: How do I turn it off?
-
A: Open Developer Options and toggle the master switch at the top to OFF. The menu will disappear once you back out.
IV. Best Practices
-
Location Simulation: If using the device for GPS testing, ensure you select the correct app under "Select mock location app" within the Developer Options.
-
App Compatibility: Some banking or high-security apps may not run while Developer Mode is enabled. Disable it temporarily to restore app functionality.
-
Stability: Avoid changing "Window animation scale" or "Background process limits" unless necessary, as these can affect daily performance.
